Payment Information

Tuition fees can be paid in a lump sum at the start of the first semester or by two (2) installments paid at the beginning of each semester. All other payments must be paid before commencement of the season.

General Information

  • Each student is required to bring one rim of photocopy paper at the beginning of every academic year and surrender it to the warden's office.
  • Fees once paid are NOT refundable.
  • Direct college fees are to be fully or partly (two installments) paid at the commencement of each semester.
  • Fees do not include allowances such as transport and incidental expenses.
  • The college reserves the right to change the rate of fees at any time during the year as deemed fit.
  • Students are expected to pay for incidental expenses such as toilet soaps, toothpaste, laundry expenses, and pocket money.
  • Any private payment to students through the College Account shall be charged 2% as bank charges.

Accommodation

The College provides a room and bed. Other items are the responsibility of the student: mattress (godoro) 3x6, bed sheet, pillow, blanket, and mosquito net.

Practical Gears & Laboratory Attire

Each student in Agriculture Production is required to bring: a pair of gum boots, gloves, overall (blue) or overcoat, slasher, a hoe with handle, and pruning scissors (for Diploma students).

Required Items

  • Each student should have two pairs of college-printed T-shirts available at the warden's office costing 15,000/= each.
  • Stationery: Exercise books, pens, pencils, ruler, and a scientific calculator.
  • Medical Examination: Submit a satisfactory Medical Examination Report from a recognized health facility, duly filled, signed, and stamped by a qualified medical practitioner.

Academic Requirements

  • To graduate, a candidate must pass all examinations (Continuous Assessment including tests, assignments, and end-of-semester examinations).
  • Students must participate in early morning and late evening practicals per Ministry of Agriculture guidelines.

Health Care

A sense of good health is mandatory. General cleanliness and personal hygiene are emphasized. Medical expenses will only cover basic first-aid needs provided by the College. The College is not responsible for referral medical expenses.

During registration, each student must produce the following original documents:

  • School Leaving Certificates and/or statement of results
  • Academic transcript
  • Birth certificate
  • Three recent passport-size photographs with your name written on the back of each
